Release Information

Popira2logo.png

  • Released on July 19, 2002 (date pending)
  • Developed by TAKARA
  • Supports 26 expansion cartridges

General Information

Popira 2 was created in 2002 by TAKARA. Most of the flaws from Popira mentioned in it's own wiki article on this site have been fixed, except for uncredited artists and difficulty numbers, as those would only come into effect with the expansion packs.

Songlist

Note: None of these songs have difficulties or artists credited to them. Also, do keep in mind inserting an expansion cartridge prior to turning the system on will hide every default song until you play without an expansion cartridge.

Hard charts are unlocked once you clear every normal chart.

Trivia

  • Compared to Popira, almost all the text is now in Japanese. That means song titles, difficulties, and even menu text are completely in Japanese. Because of this, English translations have been provided for difficulties and songs.
  • There is a fun easter egg you can activate by holding both Up and Down when the unit is powered on. Doing so will change all the notes to "Dakko-chan".[1] Every song is affected, even the Super Hard.[2]
